SUMMARY:ANZHS Annual Scientific Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The ANZHS educational and scientific meeting for 2023 covers a broad spectrum of clinical and scientific aspects of headache medicine delivered by local and international headache experts. Topics include top advances\, pathophysiology\, epidemiology and management of migraine\, omics\, temporomandibular disorders and paediatric headache management. Virtual sessions will be accompanied by live panel discussions with opportunity for interactive Q&A participation from conference delegates. Clinicians are invited to submit their scientific abstracts and clinical cases for the oral platform and poster sessions. The Peter Goadsby Award will go to the best scientific abstract with the Jim Lance Award presented to the best clinical case.\nThere will be 2 live metropolitan hubs in Sydney and Melbourne on Saturday 2nd September\, including satellite symposia\, injectable workshops and ask the expert case discussions for in-person delegates that day. We encourage others from any states to attend in person for networking and live workshops\, with invited speakers Prof Peter Goadsby and Prof Patricia Pozo-Rosich at Sydney and Melbourne\, respectively.\nOnline sessions filmed from the hubs will be available in the middle of the day for all attendees of the ANZHS ASM. Friday evening and Sunday sessions will be available online only.
